Which industries get the most from AI first?
Businesses with high enquiry volume, repetitive quoting or reporting, and staff often away from a desk see the fastest return: trades, solar, accounting and legal.
The pattern is simple. AI saves the most time where the same task happens many times a week, follows a recognisable shape, and currently waits for a person to get back to the office. A roofer cannot answer the phone on a ladder. An accountant cannot file until the client sends the bank statements. A solicitor's day fills with updates that all say roughly the same thing.

From my own business
I run Shamrock Electrical, an electrical wholesaler in Rathcoole, Dublin, alongside Clever Merchants. The first two AI workflows I put into my own business were invoice chasing and the weekly management report, because that was where my office time was going. Neither needed new software; both sit on top of the systems we already had.
